Discount plan-A: is more beneficial when you are buying a whole bunch of (assorted) blocks (can be alphabets, numbers, symbols, Greek Alphabets).

All the letter blocks, number blocks, symbol blocks, and Greek letter blocks are added up (mix n match) to give you higher volume discount).
